Mr. Konstantinos Koutsoubelis is a Management Consultant at Olympia Group of Companies and a Board Member at METIS Cybertechnology. He has served as Chief Operating Officer of Freeseas Inc until December 2016. During the years 2007-2010, he was also a member of the Board of Directors of Freeseas Inc and had served as Vice President and Treasurer. Before rejoining Freeseas Inc in 2015, he was Chief Operating Officer at Excel Maritime since 2011, reporting directly to the Board of Directors. In addition, Mr. Koutsoubelis was the group financial director of the Restis Group of Companies for more than 13 years and also Chairman of the Board of Golden Energy Marine Corp. During this period, he was a member of the Board of Directors of First Business Bank as well as Member of the Credit Committee. Furthermore, he was Director in many private and public companies such as South African Marine Corp S.A., Swissmarine Corporation Ltd, FG Europe, Imperio SA, Erasinio Hospital and others.
Before joining the Restis Group, he served as head of shipping of Credit Lyonnais Greece. After graduating from St. Louis University, St. Louis, Missouri, he held various positions in Mobil Oil Hellas S.A. and after his departure, he joined International Reefer Services S.A., a major shipping company, as financial director. In the past, he has also served as director of Egnatia Securities S.A., a stock exchange company, and Egnatia Mutual Fund S.A. He was Vice President of the Board of the Association of Banking and Financial Executives of Hellenic Shipping and was a governor at the Propeller Club Port of Piraeus.
Mr. Vasili Nicoletopoulos owns Natural Resources PC, an international business consultancy and brokerage company, based in Greece, dealing with industrial and commercial development in mining, metallurgy, rare earths, climate change policies, renewable energy and hydraulic fracturing.
Vasili has served as President of Euromines in Brussels and is currently chairing the Association's Magnesite Group. He is also Managing Director for Development, Premier Magnesia LLC, USA, and member of the board of Itamos Hydroelectric SA.
Mr. Nicoletopoulos has graduated from the National Technical University, Athens, and from Stanford University, USA with a M.Sc. in Engineering-Economic Systems. After working in consulting in California, he had a managerial career with Grecian Magnesite SA and Magnesitas Navarras in Spain. Subsequently he was CEO of ERGOSE SA, a large Greek state-controlled company.
Mr. Nicoletopoulos has been member of the Executive Committee of Eurometaux in Brussels, a Commissioner in the Greek Competition Committee, a member of the BoD of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Greek Center for Renewable Energy, the Greek Center for Public Enterprises and a number of private companies eg. Hellenic Petroleum SA and Premier Chemicals, US. Other positions held included those of General Secretary of the Greek Mining Enterprises Association and member of the General Council of the Association of Greek Industries.
Vasili has authored three books, as well as several articles in Greek and international journals and financial newspapers. He has lectured in many countries on mining, energy and public policy and has presided in international conferences. Vasili speaks English, French, Spanish and Greek.
